About Joel - I am a multidisciplinary design lead and educator with 15+ years of experience as a contributor and team lead in UX Design, Visual Design, and Creative Direction.
I pride myself on putting the needs of users first in correlation with business goals. This serves as the primary guiding compass for the direction of my work and how I measure the success of the outcome.
Outside of design, I have a background in film, broadcast, illustration and public speaking. In my spare time I create and listen to music, and indulge in stand-up comedy.
